H-Town Sky Tours!

An H-Town Sky Tour is a ride you’ll never forget!

  • See the sights of Houston from the air aboard our Beechcraft Bonanza, an aircraft that Plane & Pilot magazine suggests is “the best single-engine plane ever built.”

  • Pick your route (subject to FAA limits), or leave it up to the pilot!

  • Relax to SiriusXM Radio or follow the constant chatter of Houston Approach Control!

  • Put your feet up in the rear club seating or sit up front with the pilot and, if you want, take your turn at the controls!

Where Do We Fly?

Our one-hour tour flight is typically a clockwise loop around Houston’s popular sights (see map). After take-off, we head north past Sugar Land over the Galleria toward Bear Creek Park. There we turn east to follow I-10 past the Heights and downtown out to the San Jacinto Monument. We then fly south along the west side of the Houston Ship Channel and Trinity Bay toward Kemah. From Kemah we head west, past NASA. Between NASA and our landing is a quiet spot where front-seat passengers can take their turn at the controls!

If there’s some other spot you’d like to explore, let us know, and we’ll do our best to get you over it for a photo!

What are the Details?

Our 1-hour H-Town Sky Tour is $500. For that, the plane is yours, for 1-4 passengers (note: total passenger weight must be less than 600 lbs). We also welcome custom flight times and routes, so just ask if you have an idea! We only fly tours in good weather, which, fortunately, is plentiful in Houston!

Here’s a preview of what you might see…

Where do we fly?

Our 1-hour Sunset Flights often fly a part of our H-Town Sky Tour route (check that out here) before returning to near our airport to watch the sun sink below the horizon. Our focus is less on a tour of Houston and more on enjoying watching the sunset from high above Houston.…

What they’re saying—

“My teenage daughter has an interest in becoming a pilot one day. I wasn’t sure what to do to help her until I met Scott. His accessibility, kindness, wisdom, and expertise truly blessed us as he explained everything from pre-flight checks to landing. He patiently and thoroughly explained everything every step of the way. He knows what he is doing and obviously enjoys sharing it yet still insightfully waits for the questions a young shy budding pilot might have. Scott inspired me and my daughter, in the air and on land, that one day she can become what she wants to be, a pilot! I see this experience as a landmark in my daughter’s life and I will be forever grateful to Scott for this life changing experience. I look forward to more flights with Scott as my daughter continues to gain more knowledge and questions, questions I’m sure Scott will be able to help answer when the time comes. Thank you Scott!” 12/20/23

“We’ve known Scott for more than 15 years but never had the chance to fly with him until now. In looking for something to do with my high school senior for his birthday, we joined Scott on a one-hour Houston tour. We enjoyed the experience from the start, with an introduction to the airplane and watching Scott perform his pre-flight checks. Scott has the wealth of knowledge you’d expect from someone that’s been flying for nearly 30 years, and he truly enjoys answering all the questions you can throw at him.

While I enjoyed the view, took photos, and chatted via headset from a second-row seat, my son sat up front in the co-pilot seat.  We spent most of our flight just below 2000 feet, which was perfect for seeing the familiar sights of NRG stadium, Rice University, downtown Houston, flying down the I-10 corridor and then on to the San Jacinto Monument. Scott explained the flight controls to my son and for a portion of flight let him take control of the airplane. Believe it or not, I was much less nervous than when I let him drive on the freeway for the first time. He did great, and neither of us will soon forget the amazing experience. In fact, I'm not sure I could come up with an hour-long experience that my son and I would have enjoyed more. We look forward to our next flight, and I just need to figure out how to convince my son to let me sit up front with Scott!”
